  • Useful Information

    Booking an Appointment - To book an appointment please use the Book Now tab at the top of the page.

    All bookings require a deposit, this will be deducted from your appointment and the remaining balance to be paid on the day.  Cash and card payments are both accepted. 

    Some treatments require a consultation/patch test, please make sure this is booked at least 48 hours before your treatment.

    I work on a one to one basis in order to limit distractions so please do not bring any pets, accompanying adults or children.
      
    Parking - Customers are allowed to  park on the drive or on the road.   

  • Cancellation Policy

     I understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, so I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

    • Cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a charge of 50% of the service cost.
    • No-shows will be charged 100% of the service cost.
    • If you are late, I may need to shorten or adjust your treatment so it does not affect the next client’s appointment.
    - If you feel unwell, please let me know as soon as possible — your health always comes first.

Hi, I’m Lakshmi, the owner of A Deeper Shade.  I’m a passionate and experienced beauty therapist dedicated to helping busy women feel confident, polished, and in control—without adding more to their already full schedules. 

With over 20 years of experience in massage and 4 years specialising in permanent makeup, I’ve worked across spas, salons, and academies, building a deep understanding of both results-driven treatments and truly personalised care. My approach is rooted in expertise, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to make every client feel comfortable and reassured.  I also understand, on a personal level, what it feels like to lack confidence in your own skin. That experience is what drives my passion for helping others feel beautiful, supported, and more like themselves again. 

I truly believe that self-care is a necessity, not a luxury—especially in today’s fast-paced world.  Whether it’s enhancing your natural features or giving you time to reset, my goal is to remove the guesswork and ensure you always feel in safe, trusted hands—because looking good should feel effortless.
